EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

You can use 1 (6-oz) container of Yoplait® Original 99% Fat Free yogurt (any flavor) instead of the yogurt in the recipe if you like.

Look for the wooden sticks in packages at the grocery store or at craft shops. Or instead, use colorful long, plastic stir sticks to hold these treats.

Variations: Use Chocolate Cherrios or Cinnamon Cherrios. Use honey or a thin coat of Jam to stick Cherrios. If you don't have wooden sticks on hand try using plastic straws. My 5 year old grandson had fun making these.

Wanted a quicker fix for the kids, so used peanut butter, rolled the banana in the cheerios and gobbled them down. Yes, it was messy, but this was always going to be, so just got into it and had a blast. Gonna try it with Nutella next time. Yum.

This is a great way to beat the heat with a healthy snack. They are quick to make and the kids love them...even the older kids!!
