In 2-quart heavy saucepan or deep fryer, heat oil over medium heat to 350°F.

Separate dough into 8 rolls; flatten rolls slightly with hands. Set icing aside.

With 1-inch round cookie cutter, cut hole in center of each roll.

Fry rolls, a few at a time so not to overcrowd pan, in hot oil 1 to 1 1/2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Repeat frying with holes.

In small microwavable bowl, place icing from container. Add powdered sugar, milk, and pumpkin pie spice; stir until blended. Microwave uncovered on High 5 to 10 seconds or until warmed and thinner consistency.

Turn each doughnut upside down, and dip halfway into warmed glaze. Let any excess drip off, then transfer right side up to cooling rack or serving plate. Using fork, drizzle holes with remaining glaze. Serve warm.
