Bacon + ranch is one of my favorite food combos. I also love potatoes and an easy side dish. That’s why this recipe exists. Once you see how quickly it comes together, you’ll want to make it for your family ASAP.
We’re using crispy bacon and a packet of ranch seasoning mix tossed with our red potatoes. There might only be three ingredients, but it’s a whole lot of awesome.
I use my cast iron skillet to fry 6 slices of chopped bacon and let the residual grease kick up the flavor a notch. Use your favorite oven-safe skillet. Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon, then drain and discard excess grease while reserving about 2 tablespoons in the pan.
