Buffalo wings are easily one of my family’s favorite things to eat while watching a football game. The only problem with Buffalo wings is that they can be messy and bothersome to make. I wanted to create something that was just as delicious, but a little more filling and way less messy. This Buffalo Chicken Monkey Bread gets the job done and then some. Talk about a touchdown.
I took all the elements of the Buffalo wing and stuffed them inside Pillsbury Country Style Biscuits. I even grabbed some blue cheese crumbles and made little pockets of cheesy goodness throughout the bread. That way the blue cheese complements the chicken and doesn’t over power it.
It’s really simple to make this savory monkey bread. Just grab your biscuits, separate them, and flatten them with your hands. Take four of the biscuits and cut them into quarters (making 16 smaller pieces total) and use those for the blue cheese crumbles.
Fill the larger dough circles with the Buffalo chicken and the smaller ones with the blue cheese crumbles. Pull the outer edges of the dough up and around the filling, closing it at the top and pinching it to enclose the filling inside. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.
Drizzle some buffalo sauce and ranch dressing in the bottom of a lightly greased bundt pan. Then dip each filled dough ball in a little butter and layer them in the pan.
Try to make sure the blue cheese dough balls are distributed evenly among the buffalo chicken dough balls. Bake until golden brown on top.
Once it’s slightly cooled, invert the Buffalo Chicken Monkey Bread onto your platter and serve with additional ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
