Ingredients

Steps

  • 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Bake biscuits as directed on can.
  • 2
Bake biscuits as directed on can.
  • 3
Meanwhile, in large bowl, combine beef and seasoning.
  • 4
Divide into 8 portions; shape each into thin patty (about 1/2 inch thick).
  • 5
Heat 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  • 6
Place 4 patties in heated skillet; cook 5 to 7 minutes on each side, or until no longer pink in center (at least 165°F).
  • 7
Transfer cooked hamburger patties to plate; cover with foil to keep warm. Repeat with remaining 4 patties.
  • 8
Split biscuits horizontally. Place one hamburger patty on bottom half of each biscuit; top with top half of each biscuit.

Tips from the Pillsbury Kitchens

  • tip 1
Serve with your favorite condiments and hamburger toppings, such as ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, sliced American or cheddar cheese, sliced tomato, sliced onion, pickles, cooked bacon and lettuce leaves.
  • tip 2
No Montreal steak seasoning? No problem. Use 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper in its place.
  • tip 3
To split biscuits, gently separate the layers with your hands, or use a serrated knife to cut them horizontally.
  • tip 4
When shaping hamburger patties, try to make them about an inch in diameter larger than the bun, or in this case biscuit, as they will shrink during cooking. Making a slight indentation in the center of each patty will help keep the burgers flatter, so they don’t end up fatter in the center once cooked. To get equal-sized hamburgers, use a scale. If you don’t have a scale, divide the beef mixture in half, then in half again so that you have four equal portions. Shape two patties from each of the portions.
  • tip 5

If you’re wondering how to store biscuit hamburgers, we’ve got tips! First, if possible, store any extra biscuit buns separate from the fully cooked burger meat to avoid sogginess. Cover your freshly baked biscuits with foil or plastic wrap, or keep them in a plastic bag, and store them at room temperature for 1 to 2 days.

Second, always store leftover meat in the refrigerator; if your fully cooked burgers are refrigerated promptly, they’ll last in the fridge for about three or four days. If your biscuit hamburgers are already assembled, wrap them in foil in the fridge and reheat within a day or two, covered in foil, in your oven or toaster oven.
