If you love buffalo chicken, then you will love these waffles! Sweet-yet-spicy chicken is drenched with melted mozzarella over a warm biscuit waffle. This quick dinner will wow everyone!
Start by spraying your waffle maker with cooking spray; heat waffle maker. Unravel biscuit dough from can. Separate into eight biscuits. Place one biscuit into the center of waffle maker; close lid. Cook for two minutes, or until golden-brown. Repeat with all biscuits.
In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine hot sauce and brown sugar. Microwave mixture for one minute. Stir. Pour mixture into a bowl with the cooked, shredded chicken. Stir to combine.
Line two baking sheets with foil or parchment paper. Place four waffles on each baking sheet. Top each waffle with ¼ cup chicken mixture. Top chicken with ¼ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for five minutes, or until cheese is melted.
Remove from oven and serve each waffle warm, with drizzles of ranch dressing and chopped green onion.
