These foil packs are one of the most delicious dinners I’ve had in a while. The ingredients are super simple: chicken, broccoli, cheese and bacon. Yes, bacon! The combination is out of this world. I loved the simplicity of this meal and how easily it came together. The chicken, after steaming in the oven, is tender as can be and the subtle taste of ranch dressing makes this meal perfect.

My kids thought it was ultra-cool that they each got their own foil pack and ate everything right up. My husband called this a “Gourmet Tin Foil Dinner.” Looks like this yummy meal will be made often at our house!

Chicken-Bacon-Ranch Foil Packs

Start by heating oven to 400° F. Spray 6 sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil with cooking spray.

Place one chicken breast half in the center of each piece of foil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top each breast with 2 tablespoons ranch dressing, 1/4 cup cooked broccoli florets, 1/3 cup shredded cheese and 1 tablespoon crumbled bacon.

Place Ingredients And Tortilla Onto Foil Packs

For each foil pack, bring 2 sides of foil up over chicken-broccoli mixture so edges meet. Seal edges, making tight 1/2-inch fold; fold again, allowing space on sides for heat circulation and expansion. Fold other sides to seal. Place foil packets on ungreased large cookie sheet.

Fold In Foil Packs

Bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serve with more ranch dressing, if desired.
