Air Fryer Glazed Doughnuts

A plate of doughnuts with an airfryer and a vase of roses in the background
Nothing quite kick starts a morning like a delicious doughnut—let alone a homemade one. Make doughnuts at home with this simple Pillsbury Biscuits and air fryer hack. Kids will love helping prep these just as much as they’ll love eating them.

Prep: 10 minutes
Total Cook Time: 6 minutes
Makes: 6-8 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16.3 ounce) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Flaky Layers Original Biscuits
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1 ¼ cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Install a crisper plate in both baskets.
  2. Remove the doughnut biscuits from the can, separate them, and place them on a cutting board. Use a 1-inch round cookie cutter (or a similarly sized bottle cap) to cut holes out of the center of each biscuit. Dip both sides of 4 doughnuts in melted butter. Place 2 doughnuts in the Zone 1 basket and the remaining 2 in the Zone 2 basket. Place the baskets in the unit.
  3. Select Zone 1, select AIR FRY, set temperature to 300°F, and set time to 6 minutes. Select MATCH COOK to match Zone 2 settings to Zone 1. Press START/PAUSE to begin cooking.
  4. When the timer reads 3 minutes, remove baskets and flip doughnuts. Reinsert baskets to continue cooking.
  5. While the doughnuts are cooking, prepare the icing. In a large bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract.
  6. When cooking is complete, remove the doughnuts and dip into the prepared icing.
  7. Repeat steps 2 through 6 until all biscuits have been used.
