Ingredients

can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Flaky Layers refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

tablespoons butter, melted
1/2
cup grated Parmesan cheese
1
cup chopped deli ham (about 5 oz)

1 1/2
cups shredded Swiss cheese (6 oz)
Chopped parsley, if desired

    Heat oven to 350°F. Generously spray bottom and sides of 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.

    Separate dough into 8 biscuits; cut each into sixths. In large bowl, mix biscuit pieces, melted butter and Parmesan cheese; toss to evenly coat biscuit pieces. Stir in ham. Transfer mixture into pan, arranging biscuit pieces in single layer in pan.

    Bake 12 minutes (dough will not be cooked through); remove from oven. With back of spoon, make 6 wells in biscuit mixture. Carefully crack one egg into each well.

    Continue baking 13 to 15 minutes or until dough is golden brown and egg yolks are set and whites are firm. Remove from oven; sprinkle Swiss cheese around edges of eggs onto biscuits.

    Bake 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Garnish with parsley before serving. Serve immediately.

Expert Tips

  • If ham sticks together when chopping, be sure to separate before adding to biscuit mixture so ham is evenly distributed throughout casserole.
  • The biscuits are partially baked in this recipe to add more structure to the casserole base before adding the eggs to finish baking.
  • Serve this dish with honey mustard or Dijon mustard for added flavor.
