This tried-and-true classic stuffing is the only recipe you’ll ever need. Add your favorite mix-ins -- anything from dried cranberries, chopped apples, sautéed mushrooms or toasted pecans -- to make it your own.
You can make the stuffing the day before you bake it; cover with foil and refrigerate. Add 5 to 7 minutes to bake time to assure it is heated through in center.
You can use 3/4 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules dissolved in 3/4 cup warm water in place of the chicken broth.
