Ingredients

Steps

  • 1
Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. In 10-inch nonstick skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat 4 to 6 minutes, stirring frequently, until thoroughly cooked; drain. Stir in shredded cheese and ketchup. Set aside.
  • 2
Unroll 1 can of dough on work surface; reshape into 12x8-inch rectangle, and press perforations to seal. Place half of the cheese slices evenly on top of dough; top with half of the beef mixture. Top evenly with 8 pickle slices.
  • 3
Starting on short edge of rectangle, roll up tightly and pinch seam together. Repeat for remaining dough, cheese, beef mixture and pickles.
  • 4
With serrated knife, carefully cut each roll into 6 slices, about 1 1/4 inches wide, and arrange spiral sides up in baking dish, reshaping into round shapes, if necessary.
  • 5
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and dough is baked through. Cool 10 minutes. Serve with toppings as desired.

Tips from the Pillsbury Kitchens

If desired, drizzle yellow mustard and ketchup on top of baked crescent rolls before serving.
  • tip 2
Make sure to roll the crescents tightly to hold the tasty fillings inside while baking.
  • tip 3
If desired, substitute sliced cheddar cheese for the American cheese.
