This slow cooked dish has it all - turkey, collard greens and Progresso® chicken broth blended in a tasty side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 smoked turkey wing (about 1 1/4 lb)
  • 3 1/2 cups Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
  • 2 lb collard greens, ribs and stems removed, leaves coarsely chopped (about 8 cups)
  • 5 medium green onions, chopped (5 tablespoons)
  • 1 green bell pepper, coarsely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • Red pepper sauce

Steps

    Remove skin and meat from turkey wing; discard skin and bone. Coarsely chop meat.
  • 2
    Spray 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, stir together turkey and remaining ingredients except pepper sauce.

    Cover; cook on Low heat setting 9 hours. Serve with pepper sauce.
