This dip makes enough to feed a football team (or a group of hungry fans)! Serve with tortilla chips, toasted bread slices or veggies for dipping.

Ingredients

2
packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
2
jars (15 oz each) salsa con queso dip
16

2
bottles (12 oz each) beer
1
box Hamburger Helper™ cheeseburger macaroni
1
lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef, cooked, drained
Tortilla chips for dipping, as desired

Steps

  • 1 Spray 5- to 6-quart round or oval slow cooker with cooking spray. In large bowl, beat cream cheese with electric mixer on high speed until smooth. Beat in salsa con queso dip until well combined, followed by prepared cheese product and beer, beating until nearly smooth. Pour mixture into slow cooker.
  • 2 Add uncooked pasta and sauce mix (from Hamburger Helper box); stir until well combined. Stir in cooked ground beef.
  • 3 Cover; cook on High heat setting 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally, until cheese is hot and pasta is done.

Expert Tips

If you love the taste of beer, use a dark beer in this recipe. Looking for something a little on the lighter side? Try a pale ale instead!

Cover and refrigerate any remaining dip; use within 3 days. Reheat before serving.
