Spicy apple and cherry pie fillings bubble together in this luscious version of a dessert classic.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (21 oz) cinnamon and spice apple pie filling with more fruit
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling with more fruit
  • 12 Nature Valley™ roasted almond crunchy granola bars (6 pouches from 8.9-oz box), crushed (2 cups)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

Steps

    Heat oven to 350°F. In ungreased 11x7-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish, mix pie fillings.
  • 2
    In large bowl, mix crushed granola bars, flour and butter until crumbly. Stir in almonds. Sprinkle evenly over pie filling mixture.

    Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until edges are bubbly and center is thoroughly heated. Cool slightly, about 15 minutes. Serve warm or cool.

    To easily crush the granola bars with a rolling pin, pound the unopened pouches until the bars are broken into smaller pieces.
