Smokehouse Chili Queso
It’s a fact that game day football watching requires chips and dip. Forget about burnt cheese corners in your slow cooker. This no-fail version cooks up quickly in your microwave, but tastes like you spent at least an hour in the kitchen making it.
The trick is Progresso’s Pork and Beef Chili with Beans—made with delicious ingredients like tomatoes, Andouille sausage, bacon, pinto and kidney beans, green sweet peppers and chipotle peppers. You get all that flavor in one pouch! So here’s the foolproof method.
- Empty chili into a microwave-safe bowl. Cook in the microwave according to package directions while you cube 8 ounces of Velveeta, original or sharp cheddar style.
- Once chili is heated through, stir in cheese cubes. Microwave in 1-minute bursts, stirring each minute until melted into the chili.
- Top with up to 1 cup of your favorite tomato salsa.
Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
