Doughnut Waffles
Try tasty biscuit doughnuts in waffle form for a quick and easy breakfast treat!

These doughnut waffles are so simple, yet totally impressive! They’re a fun, delicious twist on traditional doughnuts, using Flaky Layer Biscuits baked in the waffle iron – no deep-frying or oil required!

Start by spraying your waffle maker with cooking spray and then heat your waffle maker. Remove biscuits from the can and separate into 8 biscuits. Place one biscuit into the center of the waffle maker. Close the lid and cook for 2 minutes, or until golden brown. Repeat cooking process with all biscuits.

In a large bowl, add the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla to make the traditional glaze. Whisk until combined. For the chocolate glaze, add the cocoa powder and stir into the glaze mixture until combined.

Next, dip one side of each doughnut waffle into the glaze.

Remove from the glaze and top with colorful sprinkles or any of your favorite doughnut toppings. Repeat with all doughnuts and serve immediately.
