Easy Homemade Croutons

Three simple ingredients come together for an easy and creative way to shake up salad.

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 can (11 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Breadsticks (12 Count)
  • 1 package Italian or ranch dressing mix (or to taste)

    Heat oven to 400°F.

    Drizzle 2 tablespoons of the olive oil into 15x10-inch pan with sides.

    Unroll dough. Cut each breadstick into 1/2-inch pieces. Place pieces in pan; drizzle evenly with remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil. Sprinkle evenly with dressing mix.

    Bake 15 to 20 minutes, tossing croutons halfway through bake time, until golden brown on both sides.

  • Two tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese sprinkled on before baking is a nice addition
  • Garlic breadsticks can be used in place of the plain for extra flavor. Since the package is smaller, use 2 tablespoons olive oil and 1 tablespoon dressing mix.
