Sweet, tangy, and just a little spicy, these Cranberry-Cream Cheese Crescent Bites are oh-so-easy to make. They’re the perfect little appetizers to wow guests with hardly any effort!

The creamy filling gets a festive twist with dried cranberries, a kick from jalapeño, and a fresh pop of chives—all wrapped in golden, flaky Pillsbury™ crescent dough. It’s the perfect mix of sweet, creamy, and light heat.

Whether you’re hosting a holiday get-together, bringing a dish to share, or just want something fun to snack on while sipping wine with friends, these little bites really hit the spot. They’ll disappear faster than you can bake the next batch!

Recipe Ingredients

These impressive appetizers come together with just a few simple ingredients. Here’s what you’ll need.

Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Dough Sheet: This wraps everything all together in golden, flaky goodness with no special dough skills required. You can use Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Rolls instead if that’s what you have on hand; you’ll just need to press the seams together when you roll the dough out.

Cream Cheese: It’s the rich, creamy base that holds all the ingredients together inside the bites, and it tastes so good!

Dried Cranberries: These give tart sweetness to balance out the richness and add pretty color for seasonal occasions.

Other Ingredients You’ll Need: Fresh chives bring mild onion flavor and a little color contrast, and finely diced jalapeño pepper adds a gentle heat. Remember to de-seed your jalapeño before you dice it—those seeds add a lot of spice! And if you don’t want spice at all, you can simply omit the jalapeño.

How to Make Cranberry-Cream Cheese Crescent Bites

These cranberry-jalapeño crescent bites may look fancy, but they couldn’t be easier to make. Here’s a quick look at what to do. Keep reading for the full recipe!

1. Mix the Filling

Combine the cream cheese, cranberries, chives, and jalapeño in a bowl until well blended.

2. Prep the Dough

Roll out the crescent sheet into a rectangle (press seams together if using crescent roll dough), then cut into 6 rows by 4 rows to make 24 squares.

3. Fill and Fold

Spoon a little filling onto each square, making sure not to overfill—otherwise it may leak out. Bring the corners of the dough together, pinching and twisting tightly to seal, so it doesn’t open up when it bakes.

4. Bake and Enjoy

Pop the crescent bites in a 375°F oven and bake until golden brown and puffy, about 12 minutes. They’re best served when they’re warm, but they’re tasty at room temp, too!

How to Store (and Reheat) Cranberry-Cream Cheese Crescent Bites

If you happen to have a few left, these Cranberry-Cream Cheese Crescent Bites reheat beautifully in the oven or air fryer for a quick snack the next day.

Refrigerator

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Freezer

We wouldn’t recommend freezing these as the texture of the crescents and the cream cheese won’t perform well when thawed.

Reheating

  • In the Oven: Heat oven to 350°F. Place the crescent bites on a baking sheet and warm for 6 to 8 minutes, until heated through.
  • In the Air Fryer: Reheat at 320°F for about 3 to 4 minutes, checking halfway through so they don’t overbrown.
