- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 2 teaspoons instant coffee granules or crystals
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup margarine or butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon powdered sugar

Step1Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 8-inch square pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Step2In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, instant coffee, baking powder and salt; blend well. Add margarine, vanilla and egg; stir just to combine. Spread evenly in sprayed pan.

Step3Bake at 350°F. for 18 minutes or until set. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut into bars. Serve warm or cool.
