Turn each doughnut upside down, and dip halfway into glaze. Let any excess drip off, then transfer right side up to cooling rack or serving plate. Serve warm.

Tips from the Pillsbury Kitchens

  • tip 1
For best results, immediately remove the uncooked doughnuts and centers from the melted butter after dipping. Don’t leave them in the bowl, as the dough can begin to stick together.
  • tip 2
Air fryer temperature control settings vary according to brand and model. If your air fryer does not have the exact temperature setting called for in the recipe, consult your manual for suggested temperature settings. Our recipes do not call for preheating your air fryer. Just set the temperature, and start.
  • tip 3
We tested this recipe for air fryer apple cider doughnuts in a 3.7-quart and a 5.8-quart air fryer. If using a larger air fryer, the doughnuts will cook more quickly, so be sure to check on the biscuit doughnuts and centers earlier.
