Recently, while at dinner with some girlfriends, I came across a menu item called “Pizza Sliders.” I was instantly intrigued, and started thinking of all the ways I could prepare them — that’s where these cute little Chicken Parmesan Pizza Sliders come in!

They’re essentially mini chicken Parmesans wrapped in pizza dough and topped with extra cheese. And, because they’re pizza-inspired, I just had to throw in some pepperoni.

These sliders couldn’t be easier to make. Start off by dividing some Pillsbury Classic Pizza Crust into six equal squares. (I used two cans of pizza dough to make a total of 12 pizza sliders.)

Top each square with a fully cooked chicken breast chunk — what I like to call a “grown-up chicken nugget” — and a tablespoon of pizza sauce. Make sure you prepare the chicken pieces according to package instructions, so they’re already cooked.

Add a little mozzarella cheese and a slice of pepperoni.

Then fold over the corners of the pizza dough to wrap the chicken Parmesan. Once it’s fully enclosed, top it off with a little more mozzarella cheese and another pepperoni slice!

Place the pizza sliders on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 425°F for 12 to 13 minutes or until the pizza dough is a nice golden-brown color.

Once they’re done, serve them with a side salad and extra pizza sauce for dipping.
