Expert Tips

If you have a food processor, chop the fresh vegetables quickly by cutting them into chunks and then pulsing in the food processor. Process each vegetable separately because they don’t all require the same processing time.

Katherine 298, our grocery store in S.D. has frozen REAMES NOODLES which is a brand I have seen in other grocery stores. One of the stores has their own brand of frozen noodles. The REAMES brand is very good; looks and tastes like the home made noodles my mother always made for her chicken and noodles!

We will be having this soup tonight, but with regular egg noodles. It looks great, but could someone please give me more information about frozen home-style egg noodles? Two supermarkets in my area of Massachusetts have never heard of them. Thank you.

Absolutely delicious - my family said this was the best chicken soup we had ever made.
