This viral crescent roll loaf, made with just two cans of Pillsbury dough, is the easiest baking hack you’ll try all year. With just a loaf pan and a quick bake, you get a golden, fluffy bakery-style crescent bread loaf that’s perfect for brunch, hosting, or sharing anytime. If you love simple, trending recipes that are sure to become classics, this two-can crescent roll loaf is a must-make.

Recipe Ingredients

This recipe keeps it super simple with just two main ingredients. Here’s what you’ll need to make an easy crescent loaf.

Pillsbury™ Crescent Rolls (2-Pack): Grab the value 2-pack from the refrigerator section. The rolls fit perfectly in a loaf pan and bake into a golden loaf with almost no prep. If you can’t find the 2-pack, use two individual (8-oz) cans or two cans of Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Dough Sheets. You can also mix varieties like Butter Flake or Honey Butter Crescent Rolls. Do not use Grands!™ Crescent Rolls, as they are larger and will not bake properly in this recipe.

Melted Butter: Brushed on top, melted butter gives a golden crust and rich flavor. You can also use oil or an egg wash.

Optional Add-Ons: Customize your loaf with garlic powder or dried herbs for a savory spin, or cinnamon sugar for a sweet version.

How to Make Easy Crescent Roll Loaf

Here’s a quick overview of how to turn two cans of crescent rolls into an effortless loaf. Keep scrolling for the full step-by-step instructions.

1. Prep the Pan

Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a standard loaf pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy lifting.

2. Add the Dough

Open both cans of crescent rolls and place the dough directly in the prepared loaf pan. There’s no need to separate or shape the rolls, keeping them together creates a soft, layered texture.

3. Brush with Butter

Brush the top of the dough with melted butter for a golden finish and a rich taste.

4. Bake the Loaf

Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the loaf is cooked through.

5. Cool and Serve

Let the loaf cool in the pan for 5 to 10 minutes. Then, use the parchment overhang to lift it out. Slice with a serrated knife and serve warm.

How to Store (and Reheat) Easy Crescent Roll Loaf

Here’s how to store and reheat leftovers if you have them.

Countertop Storage

Store in an airtight container on the counter for up to 2 days.

Refrigerator

Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Freezer

We do not recommend storing leftovers in the freezer; the bread can become dense and soggy.

Reheating

To reheat a slice of bread, heat it in the microwave on medium-high (70%) in 10-second increments until warm. To reheat an unsliced loaf, place bread on a parchment-lined cookie sheet, and reheat in a 300°F oven for 5 to 10 minutes.
