More About This Recipe

  • One of the best things about this ravioli Alfredo is that it only requires four ingredients, thanks to dinner jump-starters like frozen ravioli and jarred Alfredo sauce. It’s a great recipe for when you are low on time, but still want to make a special dinner for your family. If you do have extra time and want to try your hand at homemade Alfredo sauce, it’s not that hard to make! You only need four ingredients: 1/2 cup of cubed butter, 1/2 cup of whipping cream, 3/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Simply melt the butter and whipping cream in a skillet over medium heat until completely melted and bubbly; turn the heat down to low and let the mixture simmer and thicken for about five or six minutes. Then, remove the skillet from the heat, stir in the cheese and salt (and some pepper, if you want!) and your Alfredo sauce is done! Whether you make your sauce from scratch or not, we can all agree that ravioli and Alfredo are an excellent pair. But, ravioli is so versatile that it pairs well with other red sauces, too!
