Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 3 tablespoons canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
- 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
Instructions

Step1In 2-quart saucepan, stir together sugar and water. Cook until sugar is dissolved (do not boil).

Step2Beat in pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice with whisk. Cook (do not boil) 5 minutes longer.

Step3Remove from heat. Cool at least 30 minutes.

Step4Pour syrup into bottle, jar or storage container. Store in refrigerator.
