Parmesan-herb Muffins

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage leaves, crumbled
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
Instructions

Step1Heat oven to 400°F. Grease bottoms only of 12 medium muffin cups or line with paper baking cups. In large bowl, combine flour, cheese, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, sage and parsley; mix well.

Step2Add buttermilk, butter and egg; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Divide batter evenly into greased muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.

Step3Bake at 400°F. for 15 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Immediately remove from pan. Serve warm.
