More About This Recipe

  • While you may be celebrating that you won’t have to wait for these Nutella® oatmeal cookies to bake in the oven, don’t forget that you’ll still have to wait for them to set! However, you only have to let them set for about 15-30 minutes. If they still haven’t set at that point, you can put them in the fridge or freezer for a bit to harden. No-bake cookies are excellent candidates for mailing to loved ones. To mail, pack the cookies into a firm-sided cardboard, metal or plastic container lined with plastic wrap or foil. Insulate the sides of the container with a wall of crumpled wax paper. Place waxed paper between each layer. It’s a good idea to place the container in a larger box that’s padded on all sides with packing material. If you prefer to send more traditional oatmeal cookies we’ve got those, too! For all of your cookie needs, take a look at our cookie cheat sheet.
