Believe us—you really do only need three ingredients to make the best Brussels sprouts in the Instant Pot®! Toss with butter, salt and pepper, then top with crispy bacon and serve as part of your Thanksgiving menu or as a simple dinnertime side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb Brussels sprouts, washed and trimmed (about 8 cups)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled

Steps

    Add Brussels sprouts and water to insert of 6-quart Instant Pot®; stir.
  • 2
    Secure lid; set pressure valve to SEALING. Select MANUAL; cook on high pressure 2 minutes. Select CANCEL. Set pressure valve in VENTING position to release pressure. Drain.
  • 3
    Toss cooked Brussels sprouts with butter, salt and pepper. Top with bacon.

    Before adding to the Instant Pot®, wash Brussels sprouts gently and cut off the bottom stems. Some of the leaves may fall off—just toss them in with the whole Brussels sprouts.

    Toss Brussels sprouts with a splash of balsamic vinegar before topping with bacon, if desired.
