lb Brussels sprouts, washed and trimmed (about 8 cups)

cup water

tablespoon butter

teaspoon salt

teaspoon pepper

slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled

    Add Brussels sprouts and water to insert of 6-quart Instant Pot®; stir.
  • 2
    Secure lid; set pressure valve to SEALING. Select MANUAL; cook on high pressure 2 minutes. Select CANCEL. Set pressure valve in VENTING position to release pressure. Drain.
  • 3
    Toss cooked Brussels sprouts with butter, salt and pepper. Top with bacon.

Expert Tips

  • Before adding to the Instant Pot®, wash Brussels sprouts gently and cut off the bottom stems. Some of the leaves may fall off—just toss them in with the whole Brussels sprouts.
  • Toss Brussels sprouts with a splash of balsamic vinegar before topping with bacon, if desired.
