More About This Recipe

  • This pepperoni pizza bake can be made with only four ingredients, and they are also the most essential ingredients for a traditional pizza—sauce, shredded mozzarella and sliced pepperoni. Ever wonder why mozzarella is called for in almost every pizza recipe? Mozzarella melts, bubbles and browns better than other types of cheese, making it the perfect choice for pizza. Never skip the mozz, but if you want to add some more cheese flavor to these pizza biscuits or other pizza recipes, you can pair additional cheeses with mozzarella like Parmesan, cheddar or provolone.
