Tips from the Pillsbury Kitchens

  • tip 1
Oysters can be cooked in deep fryer at 375°F. for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • tip 2
Fried Clams: Substitute fresh clams, shells removed, for oysters. Fried Frog Legs: Substitute 3 lb. frog legs for oysters. Cook about 10 minutes on each side or until golden brown. If legs are large, add a little water. Cover; simmer 10 minutes. Remove cover; continue frying until crisp.
