Ingredients

Steps

  • 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 9-inch round or square pan with cooking spray.
  • 2
Separate dough into 5 rolls. Place in bottom of pan, spacing slightly apart. Pour whipping cream over tops of rolls.
  • 3
In small bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Drop by tablespoonfuls over tops of rolls, stirring mixture each time. Cover with foil.
  • 4
Bake 15 minutes. Uncover and bake 12 to 15 minutes longer or until dough is baked thorough in centers of rolls and edges are light golden brown. Let stand 2 minutes. Spread icing (from can of cinnamon rolls) over tops of baked rolls. Cool 5 minutes before serving.

Tips from the Pillsbury Kitchens

  • tip 1
We found that a 9-inch metal round or square pan works best with this recipe so dough has enough room to expand while baking.
  • tip 2
For easy clean-up, cut a piece of parchment paper to line the bottom of pan.
  • tip 3
Stir the melted butter-brown sugar mixture each time before dropping tablespoonfuls over tops of rolls to keep the mixture evenly mixed.
  • tip 4
For extra decadence, serve any leftover cream mixture alongside the rolls.
  • tip 5
Serving a crowd? To double this Easy Ultimate Cinnamon Rolls recipe, double the ingredient amounts, and use a sprayed 13x9-inch pan. Bake, spread icing and cool as outlined in the recipe for best results. If using a glass 13x9-inch (3-quart) baking dish, bake covered 15 minutes. Uncover, and bake 12 to 17 minutes longer or until dough is baked through in centers of rolls and edges are light golden brown.
  • tip 6
Store any remaining cinnamon rolls covered in refrigerator. To reheat, remove from refrigerator. Place 1 roll on microwavable plate; microwave uncovered on High 30 to 45 seconds or until heated through.
