The cheese cracker crumbs are an easy way to get cheese flavor into these yummy chicken tenders.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups Annie's™ organic Cheddar Bunnies™ crackers, coarsely crushed
  • 1 package (14 oz) chicken tenders (not breaded)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Honey mustard, if desired

Steps

    Heat oven to 425°F. Spray 15x10x1-inch pan with cooking spray.

    In shallow dish or pie plate, beat eggs. In another shallow dish or pie plate, place cracker crumbs. Dip each chicken tender into eggs, then coat with cracker crumbs; place in pan. Sprinkle with salt; drizzle with melted butter.

    Bake 12 to 18 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center (165°F). Serve with honey mustard.

    To crush crackers, place in 1-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag. Crush using rolling pin or meat mallet until coarse crumbs form.
