The cheese cracker crumbs are an easy way to get cheese flavor into these yummy chicken tenders.

Ingredients

cups Annie's™ Cheddar bunnies crackers, coarsely crushed
1
package (14 oz) chicken tenders (not breaded)
1/4
teaspoon salt

tablespoons butter, melted
Honey mustard, if desired

Steps

  • 1 Heat oven to 425°F. Spray 15x10x1-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • 2 In shallow dish or pie plate, beat eggs. In another shallow dish or pie plate, place cracker crumbs. Dip each chicken tender into eggs, then coat with cracker crumbs; place in pan. Sprinkle with salt; drizzle with melted butter.
  • 3 Bake 12 to 18 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center (165°F). Serve with honey mustard.

Expert Tips

To crush crackers, place in 1-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag. Crush using rolling pin or meat mallet until coarse crumbs form.
