Combine biscuits with apples for these delicious glazed apple fritters.

Ingredients

can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Flaky Layers refrigerated biscuits (8 biscuits)

tablespoons granulated sugar
1
teaspoon apple pie spice
1
cup chopped apple (1 large)
2
tablespoons butter, melted
1 1/2
cups powdered sugar

to 3 tablespoons water

Steps

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Line large cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper; spray with cooking spray. Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Cut each biscuit into 10 pieces.
  • 2 In large bowl, mix biscuit pieces, granulated sugar and apple pie spice until well mixed. Stir in apple. Spoon heaping 1/4 cupfuls dough on cookie sheet; shape and press dough into 12 (3-inch) fritters. Drizzle butter evenly over fritters.
  • 3 Bake 14 to 17 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 2 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack.
  • 4 Meanwhile, in small bowl, stir powdered sugar and water until smooth. Spoon glaze over tops of fritters. Serve warm.
