You're just five ingredients away from these delicious Italian-style pork chops for two made in the air fryer. These chops are cooked to tender, juicy perfection with a crisp, flavorful coating reminiscent of our popular Parmesan-Crusted Pork Chops, and it's all made even easier (and tastier!) thanks to the air fryer's cooking process.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup Progresso™ Panko Italian style crispy bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 boneless pork loin chops, 3/4 inch thick (4 to 5 oz each)

Steps

  • 1
Cut 8-inch round of cooking parchment paper. Place in bottom of air fryer basket.
  • 2
In shallow dish, place flour. In another shallow dish, beat egg with salt. In third shallow dish, mix bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Coat pork with flour; dip into egg mixture, then coat with bread crumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
  • 3
Place pork chops on parchment in air fryer basket. Set to 325°F; cook 10 minutes. Turn pork chops; cook 8 to 12 minutes longer or until no longer pink in center (at least 145°F). Serve immediately.

Tips from the Pillsbury Kitchens

  • tip 1
Air fryer temperature control settings vary according to brand and model. If your air fryer does not have the exact temperature setting called for in the recipe, consult your manual for suggested temperature settings.
  • tip 2
Our recipes do not call for preheating your air fryer. Just set the temperature, and start. Never preheat with parchment paper alone.
  • tip 3
Serving more than two people? You can easily double or triple this recipe, and cook the chops in batches in the air fryer.
  • tip 4
If you use bone-in pork chops, since they're usually thinner than boneless pork chops, shorten the cook time by a few minutes, and check the temperature with an instant-read thermometer to test doneness. The temperature will read 145°F when done.
