The most important part is to bake up some of these tasty Red Velvet Cookie Bars!
To kill time while you’re waiting for the bars to cool, cut out a 1-inch heart from either a paper towel or a small piece of parchment paper.
Once your bars have cooled, cut the them to your desired size. Remove bars, one at a time, from the pan and place your cute heart shape into the middle of the bar.
Dust with powdered sugar from a mesh sieve and quickly (but carefully!) remove the parchment heart. Tip: If you want to be extra careful, use a tweezer to remove the heart to ensure you don’t smudge the powdered sugar!
