Cars

Cut out a strip of pizza dough (ours were 3 x 1 ½ inches) and top with a 1 ½-inch square piece of dough. Bake until golden brown. Make wheels by attaching two olive slices with a toothpick, making one pair for the front and one pair for the back. Place the “car” on the toothpicks. (You can also poke the toothpicks through the body of the cars and attach the olive slices.)

Spectators

Make Mini Crescent Dogs. Using a toothpick dipped in mustard, create faces.

Referees

Make spectators using directions above. Decorate with hats and shirts made from sour cream and olive strips.

Players

Make spectators using directions above. Cut out helmets using cherry tomatoes and jumbo olives.

Median

Cut a strip of breadstick dough to the desired length; bake until golden brown. Attach broccoli florets to the strip with toothpicks.

Jumbotron

Cut pizza dough into desired shape for screen. Use breadsticks for the legs. Use wooden skewers to attach legs to screen and to affix to stadium.

Footballs

Pipe grape tomatoes (cherry tomatoes aren’t the right shape) with cream cheese laces.
