Barbecue Chicken Bubble-Up Bake How-To

Barbecue Chicken Bubble-Up Bake
An easy, delicious and filling meal! So easy to make, the kids can do it! MORE+ LESS-

A popular meal at our house is BBQ Chicken Pizza. We like to enjoy a pizza night at least once a week, and it’s this one that usually graces our table.

In an effort to be creative, I decided to change up the typical pizza night with a baked bubble-up version using Pillsbury® Grands Biscuits. This bubble-up bake is so easy and only requires five ingredients!

How can you go wrong with melted cheese, barbecue sauce, tender chicken and soft, warm biscuit dough? This meal is a family-pleaser without a doubt!

Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken in the heated skillet. Remove from heat and let cool while you separate biscuits and cut each one into 8 pieces.

Place cooked chicken in a medium bowl. Pour the barbecue sauce over the chicken and stir to combine. Add the biscuit dough pieces and gently toss again.

Pour mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading out evenly. Sprinkle the cheese over the top.

Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden-brown and cheese is melted. Remove from oven and top with chopped, fresh cilantro, if desired.
