Expert Tips

For easy cleanup all the time, invest in a good-quality nonstick skillet. Pans with a hard anodized surface are the most durable, will last the longest and provide the most even cooking.

This is good stuff. I made it exactly according to the recipe and its a whole lot more delicious than it sounds(the whole picky eater family thing). My wife and kids loved it. Just be sure to season your ground beef when you cook it.

I make something similar to this where I brown that ground beef, add a can of cream of mushroom soup, a cup of cheese and about 1/4 cup of milk. I cook a California veggie melody and layer it on the the bottom of a 9x13 casserole dish. I then layer the veggies with the meat mixture and top it all with tater tots. I cook it about 25 minutes and then add another cup of cheese on top and bake for about 5 more minutes. Very tasty!

This got my baby to eat his vegetables, but my four year old didn't like the smell. Next time I'm going to add frozen corn and substitute cream of mushroom soup!

Wasn't really sure how this was going to go over with the family as I added the green beans, but they loved it. Whenever I cook something new, I ask if it's a recipe keeper - and this one is. Something different and very easy to cook.
