Easy Fruit Pie Recipes – Because You Deserve a Sweet Treat!

Whatever your favorite fruit, we’ve got a foolproof recipe for you. Hint: Go with an unroll-and-fill Pillsbury pie crust for a quick start.

5 tips for foolproof pie crust

  1. Allow refrigerated pie crust to stand at room temperature for 15 minutes before handling.

  2. Cracks in your crust? Don’t worry. Just wet your fingers with cold water and press the seams together.

  3. Before you start baking, firmly press the crust into the sides and bottom of the pan.

  4. Prick the bottom and sides of the unfilled crust before baking so you don’t get bubbles.

  5. Cover the edges of the crust with aluminum foil after the first 15 minutes of baking or as directed in recipe.

Pie Tips

PB_Editor Said:

When I bake a pie shell, I put the crust in the pie plate, then put parchment paper over the crust and add a thin layer of uncooked beans. They keep the crust flat and it won't bubble while it bakes.
