Hearty spinach and crisp water chestnuts in a rich, creamy base make this emerald-colored party dip a "most requested" dish.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups frozen cut leaf spinach
  • 1 (8-oz.) can water chestnuts, drained, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1 (1.4-oz.) pkg. dry vegetable soup mix
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

Steps

    Cook spinach as directed on package; drain well.

    In medium bowl, combine spinach and all remaining ingredients; mix well. Refrigerate at least 4 hours to blend flavors.

    Serve with assorted cut-up fresh vegetables or crackers.
