Brush these bacon slices with a spicy maple glaze pre-bake for subtle sweetness with a kick.

Ingredients

  • 12 bamboo skewers
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons real maple or maple-flavored syrup
  • 12 slices thick-sliced bacon
  • Chopped green onions, if desired

Steps

    Soak bamboo skewers in water at least 30 minutes.
  • 2
    Heat oven to 400°F. Place wire cooling rack in 15x10x1-inch pan.

    In small bowl, stir together Sriracha sauce and syrup. Thread 1 bacon slice on each skewer; place on rack in pan. Brush both sides of bacon with sauce mixture.

    Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until bacon is golden brown and crispy. Garnish with onions.
