Ingredients

Steps

  • 1
Heat oven to 375°F. Line large cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper.
  • 2
Unroll both cans of dough; separate into 16 triangles. On cookie sheet, arrange triangles in ring so short sides of triangles form a 5-inch circle in center. Dough will overlap. Dough ring should look like the sun.
  • 3
Arrange 10 of the cheese triangles and all ham slices on half of each triangle closest to center of ring. Top with remaining 10 cheese triangles. Bring each dough triangle up over filling, tucking dough under bottom layer of dough to secure it. Repeat around ring until entire filling is enclosed (some filling might show a little).
  • 4
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until dough is golden brown and thoroughly baked. Cool 10 minutes. To serve, carefully place ring onto serving plate.

Tips from the Pillsbury Kitchens

  • tip 1
Serve Ham and Swiss Crescent Ring with homemade or store-bought honey mustard dipping sauce. To make your own honey mustard, stir together 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard and 2 tablespoons honey.
  • tip 2
If desired, substitute sliced cheddar or mozzarella for the Swiss cheese in this Ham and Swiss Crescent Ring.
  • tip 3
Placing a glass or metal bowl that is 5 inches in diameter on the cookie sheet will help guide you as you create the ring of dough.
  • tip 4
To round out your meal, serve with steamed vegetables or a simple green side salad tossed with your favorite dressing.
