Greek Chicken Burgers

Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground chicken
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano or 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 (6 to 8-inch) pita (pocket) breads, cut in half, heated
- 4 tablespoons purchased roasted red pepper hummus
- 8 cucumber slices
- 4 tomato slices
Instructions

Step1Heat grill. In large bowl, combine chicken, onion, oregano, salt and pepper; mix well. Shape mixture into four 4-inch-long oval patties.

Step2When ready to grill, carefully oil grill rack. Place patties on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook 13 to 15 minutes or until thoroughly cooked and no longer pink in center, turning once.

Step3Spread inside of each pita bread half with 1 tablespoon hummus. Line each with cucumber and tomato slices. Add chicken patty to each.
