Layered with fresh lettuce and tomato, deli turkey, mayo, cheese and smoky bacon, these ultra-tasty handheld eats are sure to please family and friends alike. Ingredients

  • 4 biscuits from 1 bag (18 oz) frozen Pillsbury™ Garlic Cheddar Biscuits (15 Count)
  • 4 teaspoons mayonnaise
  • 2 slices cheddar or Swiss cheese, quartered (2 oz)
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 thin slices tomato
  • 2 slices deli turkey, halved
  • 2 slices cooked bacon, quartered

Steps

    Heat oven to 375°F. Place biscuits 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 15 to 19 minutes or until golden brown.

    To serve, split warm biscuits. Top bottom half of each with 1 teaspoon mayonnaise, 1 piece cheese (1/4 slice) and 1 folded lettuce leaf.
  • 3
    Top with 1 slice of tomato, 1 more piece cheese (1/4 slice), 1 folded piece of turkey (1/2 slice) and 2 quartered slices bacon. Cover with top half of biscuit.

Tips from the Pillsbury Kitchens

    If desired, substitute turkey bacon for the regular bacon.
  • tip 2
    Instead of the regular mayonnaise, you can use spicy mayonnaise or a mix of mayonnaise and mustard.
  • tip 3
    Try using romaine or Bibb lettuce leaves in this recipe. If lettuce has thick ribs, remove them before adding lettuce to sandwiches.
