What could be better than chicken tenders? How about chicken tenders and tasty toppings sandwiched between flaky cornbread biscuits? Serve up a stack of these southern-style biscuit sandwiches for an oh-so-easy dinner that's sure to delight. Breaded chicken tenders, smoky bacon and cheddar cheese meet layers of dill pickle, fresh lettuce and tomato to create this must-make comfort meal in just 45 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 frozen breaded chicken tenders (from 12-oz package)
  • 4 biscuits from 1 bag (41.6 oz) frozen Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Cornbread Biscuits (20 Count)
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese (3 oz)
  • 20 dill pickle slices
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 8 thin slices tomato
  • 4 cooked bacon slices, halved, if desired

    Heat oven to 375°F. Line large sheet pan with cooking parchment paper. Place chicken tenders on one side of pan. Bake 5 minutes.

    Place frozen biscuits on pan with chicken, 2 inches apart. Bake 17 to 21 minutes longer, until biscuits are golden brown and chicken is heated through.

    To serve, split warm biscuits. Top bottom half of each biscuit with 1 slice cheese. Top with 5 pickle slices, 1 lettuce leaf, 2 slices tomato and 1 chicken tender. Top with bacon. Cover with top half of biscuit.

    Like a little heat? Substitute pepper Jack cheese for the cheddar, or swap in sliced pickled jalapeños for the dill pickle slices.
