Chocolate Hazelnut Bites with Bananas

Creamy mini-sandwiches are perfect for after-school snacking. Kids will love the chocolate-hazelnut and fresh banana combo on a flaky crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Rounds (8 Count)
  • 1/2 cup hazelnut spread with cocoa
  • 1 banana, thinly sliced

Steps

    Heat oven to 375°F. Line cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper or foil.

    Separate dough into 8 rounds. Place on cookie sheet.

    Bake 12 to 17 minutes or until golden brown. Cool.
  • 4
    Split each crescent round. Spread cut side of bottom of each with about 1 tablespoon hazelnut spread. Add 3 or 4 banana slices. Top with second half of crescent round, making a sandwich. Serve immediately.

  • Substitute peanut butter for hazelnut spread with cocoa.
  • Add a drizzle of caramel sauce over the bananas.
