Apple and Brie Panini

This fancy version of grilled cheese is beyond delicious. Brie blended with apples makes one sweet, melty sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 4 ciabatta rolls, split
  • 4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 4 oz Brie cheese, rind removed, sliced
  • 1/2 lb thinly sliced ham
  • 2 Granny Smith apples, cored and sliced
  • 4 teaspoons olive oil

Steps

  • 1
    Heat closed contact grill or Panini press 5 minutes.
  • 2
    Spread bottom halves of rolls with Dijon mustard. Layer with cheese, ham and apples, then tops of rolls. Brush outsides of rolls with olive oil.

    When grill is heated, place panini on grill. Close grill; cook 4 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is toasted.
