Dinner ready in 25 minutes! Enjoy these classic ground beef burgers made with oats – a hearty meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. extra-lean ground beef
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup skim milk
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce, if desired

    Heat grill. In large bowl, combine all ingredients except barbecue sauce; mix well. Shape mixture into 6 patties, 1/2 inch thick.

    When ready to grill, lightly oil grill rack. Place patties on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook 10 to 12 minutes or until burgers are thoroughly cooked, turning once and brushing each side occasionally with barbecue sauce.
