Four ingredients. Just a few minutes of hands-on time before serving. A cozy Sunday dinner really IS that simple!
Slow-Cooker Creamy Ranch Pork Chops

Let’s talk about what you actually want in a Sunday dinner. First, it should be all about your family enjoying time together before another Monday rolls around—not spending hours in the kitchen fussing over your stove. Ideally, you wouldn’t have more than one or two dishes to worry about when you’re done cooking, either. Oh and while we’re at it, can we shorten the ingredient list and keep steps to a minimum?

You got it.

That’s why I think these slow-cooker pork chops are so genius: You get all the payoff of a home-cooked comfort food meal, without spending more than a few minutes actually cooking. Just dump the first three ingredients in your slow cooker, and come back in a few hours to finish the dish with five minutes, max, of hands-on time. In the meantime, you can take a nap, run errands, watch football—whatever you want. You do you!

This recipe is so simple, it doesn’t take much to add your own twist on the dish. Here’s how I make it my own:

  • Chop up a few slices of cooked bacon and sprinkle them over the top before serving. Bacon and ranch are a match made in heaven.
  • Make it Italian! Sub a jar of Alfredo sauce and some Italian seasoning in for the mushroom soup and ranch mix. You could even add a can of diced tomatoes in there, too.
  • Make it Mex! Use a packet of taco seasoning and a can of Progresso™ Traditional chicken cheese enchilada soup for a different flavor twist.
