A bubbly biscuit bake is the ultimate cold-weather comfort food.

Here's how I make it my own:

  • To add extra flavor without adding extra salt, I sprinkle in a generous amount of dried basil and oregano. You’ll find both of these in an Italian Seasoning spice mix, if you have that handy.
  • I like my biscuits a little more on the well done side, so I added a few minutes to the cook time. Remember to make sure the filling is hot and bubbly before placing the biscuits on top.
  • I threw in some fresh garlic I had on hand to give the creamy Alfredo sauce a little something extra. A dash of garlic powder would work great here, too.
